Terms & Conditions of Hire
1. All goods are supplied on a hire basis only and title remains with Enchanting Candelabras.
2. The Hirer is the person named on the booking form. The Hirer takes responsibility for the goods under these terms and conditions.
3. The standard hire period is 24 hours.
4. The Hirer shall be solely responsible for the Hired Goods and shall be alone responsible for insuring the goods from time of delivery until back into the possession of the hirer
5. The Hirer will pay a deposit of £200 arrangement to cover damaged or missing goods. This is usually taken in the form of a cheque which will be destroyed on the return and inspection of the hired goods.
6. Damaged or Missing Goods - Upon delivery back to the Hirer, if it is found that there are any missing items then the replacement value will be charged (Currently set at £50 per Candelabra £3.00 per Lantern. If the deposit taken is not enough to cover the loss or damage to the Hirers items or for business hirers then an invoice will be raised accordingly that will be due strictly within 30 days.
7. A 25% deposit will be required to secure a booking, until the booking form and deposit is received and booking confirmed then no booking will be deemed to have been made. The balance is payable in full 1 calendar month before the booking. If a booking is cancelled more than 1 month in advance then no more is payable, if a booking is cancelled within 1 month then the full remaining balance is payable - These monies can be used against a future booking within 12 months if the event is only postponed. Bookings within 1 month must be paid in full at time of booking
8. The Hiree shall not be responsible for injury or damage to persons or property howsoever sustained arising from any Hired Goods.
